Atlantic Bagels is looking for a skilled and passionate Deli Person to join our team in Brooklyn Heights. Store is under new ownership and looking for talented front of house staff with great cooking skills and outstanding customer service talent.
Job description:
Take orders using Toast POS with friendliness and efficiency.
Prepare and package food with care, and present it with the customer’s experience always in mind.
Be a great team worker by communicating well, keeping a clean work station, and being accountable for your responsibilities.
Requirements:
Experience with Toast POS.
Experience in delis and/or bagel stores.
People-person with excellent communication skills and ability to make customers feel good. Fluency in English.
Able to work in a high-volume environment while maintaining a cool head and a sense of humor.
Always-Be-Cleaning (ABC) mentality. Pride in work and in personal presentation.
Honesty and reliability.
Interest in growing and learning.
Pay starts at $17/hour, plus tips and meals. Starting with 30-hrs a week, but could grow to full-time depending on additional skills and availability. Must be available Saturdays and Sundays. PLEASE EMAIL YOUR RESUME if you have one. Thanks!
