Ivan Ramen's internationally acclaimed ramen shop is searching for an experienced host to join our diverse team.
As the first and final point of contact with our guests, we will need someone warm, focused, experienced, and dedicated. We offer soup-er flexible schedules, though open availability is necessary. This includes Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. We'll work with your personal schedule so you can have a healthy work/life balance. Besides, you'll be on your way home by 9 pm most nights! Where else can you work in this industry with an out-time like that?
We are willing to train, but very much would prefer someone who has a mastery of OpenTable and at least some familiarity of the Toast POS. We are not willing to train on how to be professional, courteous and friendly; these traits you must bring yourself.
We regularly get very busy, with a full restaurant and a line out the door, and down the street. You'll need to be comfortable with being friendly at all times while juggling a full reservation book, waitlist, guest inquiries, phone calls, assisting take out, and occasionally bussing a table and/or running food. Other duties as assigned, too.
