Wave Hill Breads is seeking multiple farmer market sales people to be our brand ambassadors for our handmade artisan breads and pastries. This position will average 6-10 hours per market, with markets being held throughout the entire week and weekend. Markets are based throughout Connecticut, Manhattan and Westchester County.
Non-negotiable Requirement:
Valid driver's license and ability to use a personal vehicle - SUV or bigger
Requirements:
-Available on weekends, Saturdays are a MUST.
-Excellent people and communication skills, a friendly manner
-Your own insured vehicle and a valid driver's license
-Competent with basic math skills, able to lift 50 lbs., able to stand for 4-5 hours straight.
-Reliable, organized, and punctual
-Knowledge of safe food handling procedures is a plus
-Previous sales experience is a big plus, but not required
Compensation: $16-20/hour, depending on credentials, experience, and references. Sales bonuses are extra but come with terms. Mileage will be reimbursed if you use your own vehicle
