Micheline is a new and exciting French Bistro located in the heart of Scarsdale, right by the Metro North Station. Our menu showcases classic French cuisine mixed with the freshest local ingredients. Our French wine list and seasonal craft cocktail program ensure our guests always have something interesting to enjoy.

We are open for dinner Tuesday through Sunday, with lunch/brunch coming soon Friday to Sunday.

We are looking for an experienced Expeditor with great energy, that like fast paced environments and take pride in providing genuine and attentive hospitality!

We seek a responsible, kind, hardworking individual, with a positive and professional attitude and work-ethic. Our ideal candidate will bring genuine passion for service, hospitality, and enjoy working in a fast paced, high energy work environment. You should have experience as well as strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen safety and sanitation, effective time management and quality control.

The position requires:

Ensure the efficient flow of orders from the waiters to the kitchen

Ensure orders are being prepared with the correct priority

Assist in the final preparation of dishes

Check dishes before delivery for accuracy, presentation and temperature

Deliver orders to maintain fast service

Eliminate obstacles in service, food preparation lines or dishwashing

Inspect the premises according to quality and sanitation standards and assist in cleaning

Transfer important information between the kitchen and the wait staff (e.g. when a customer has a particular request)

Handle complaints from clients to preserve the restaurant’s reputation

Support other tasks as needed

Issuing bills and accepting payment

Performs other duties as directed

Qualifications

Natural communicator with excellent customer service skills

Reliable, flexible and a team player

Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations

Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment

At least 2 years of experience in upscale casual or fine dining restaurants
