Japanese-owned counter service sushi roll shop in Brooklyn. While keeping close to the authenticity of Japanese cuisine, Silver Rice takes a spin on traditional sushi rolls, chirashi bowls, and fresh salads. The restaurant is a destination spot for anyone looking for quality sushi. (Selected for Zagat 2020 and Bon Appétit’s The NYC100.)

Be able to complete assigned daily tasks consistently.
Understand sanitation, health code laws for food industry.
Be fluent in English.
Have legal working status.

Food protection certificate.
Knowledge of Japanese food and culture.
(Main Tasks)
Take order at storefront.
Packing items for delivery/takeout
Maintain work environment clean and organized
Maintain store appearance for customers
Take care of phone calls (inquiries etc.)
Prepare takeout condiments
(Work Schedule)
3-5days/week
Lunch (11AM-4:30PM)
Dinner (4:30PM-10:30PM)
(Minimum requirement)
Availability for weekend plus 1-2 lunch operation.
