Help Wanted: Full-Time Cook for Fusion Take-Out Restaurant
Location: Flatbush, Brooklyn, NY
Pay: $17/hr
We are a brand-new fusion take-out restaurant opening in Flatbush, Brooklyn, on September 16th, 2024, and we are looking for a talented and reliable Cook to join our team! If you have a passion for cooking and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of fusion dishes with precision and care.
Bake our delicious desserts as part of daily operations.
Participate in food prep and ensure ingredients are ready for service.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area.
Be a team player and help with cleaning and other tasks in the back or front of the house during downtime.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Qualifications:
Food handlers course certification is required.
Basic English-speaking competency is required.
Previous experience in a cooking or baking role is preferred but not required.
A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes and techniques.
Reliable and punctual.
