We are an upscale bar, and restaurant seeking a General Manager who has experience opening restaurants and creating a positive culture. We would love to improve employee efficiency as well as service standards. The ideal candidate will work well under pressure and be able to delegate tasks accordingly.

- Must be flexible to work nights, holidays & weekends according to the needs of the business.

- Food Handlers Certificate

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant and make decisions on matters of importance to guest service.

- Ensure that all guests receive warm and welcoming service, and that we are exceeding expectations at all times.

- Respond to complaints, taking any and all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests.

- Assist in creating all company policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs.

Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility and sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.

- Continually strive to develop both hourly and management staff in all areas of managerial and professional development.

- Make employment and termination decisions

- Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner.

- Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and administer prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules and procedures.

- Manage labor to cover the needs of business while meeting labor targets.

Salary: Based on experience: 85-95k
