The Gutter is looking for an energetic and motivated part time floor manager. You will help maintain the bowling lane machines, create a great customer experience, and make sure our floor staff has what it needs to be excellent. We need someone hands-on who can be a great communicator. Bar and/or restaurant experience is a must. Mechanical aptitude is important, and our in-house licensed mechanic will provide lane training.
The Gutter is a late night operation that runs until 4 am every night. This position will be expected to work some closing shifts that may end at 4:30 am.
RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Opening and closing the bar
Overseeing staff
Overseeing all money on shift
Seeing to the needs of customers
Create a positive working environment for all employees
NYC Food Handler Certification required
Basic mechanical abilities are a must
Demonstrate integrity, tact, diplomacy and a commitment to company values

The Gutter Bar was founded in Williamsburg, Brooklyn in 2007 with 8 vintage bowling lanes, a small music venue, and a focus on American independent craft beer. Since then we opened our second location in Long Island City, Queens in 2017, and in 2020 the third and largest location opened on the Lower East Side of Manhattan.
