We are searching for a head baker/pastry chef to join our artisan bakery in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
The ideal candidate has at least 4 years experience in commercial baking, managing a team, and good communication skills.
Our current production schedule is Mon-Fri, 6-3, pay starts at 23$, depending on experience.
The ideal candidate will be a leader in the kitchen, working with the team to complete weekly production schedule.

-Ability to weigh, mix and bake products based on recipes and kitchen standards
-Open to learning new techniques, such as vegan baking and wild fermentation
-Attention to detail, thoughtful, organized in your work
-Assist with production and menu planning
-Kind attitude, work well with others
-Comfortable with working for 8+ hours, standing, lifting up to 50#, packing, portioning etc
-Must be eligible to work in the U.S/have food handlers license
-Can move through challenges with positivity, work together as a team when problems arise
-We speak both Spanish and English in the kitchen.
