Key Responsibilities:

-Develop and execute seasonal menus that reflect our commitment to quality and creativity.

-Manage budgeting for kitchen operations, including food costs, labor costs, and overall kitchen expenditures.

-Oversee ordering and inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels while minimizing waste.

-Monitor food cost percentages and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.

-Recruit, lead, schedule and manage back of house staff, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.

-Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.

-Collaborate with management on culinary initiatives, restaurant promotions, and cost-effective menu pricing.

Qualifications:

-Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Head Chef in a full-service restaurant, preferably in a polished casual setting.

-Strong leadership and communication skills.

-Knowledge of budgeting, food cost management, and inventory control.

-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

-Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.

-NYC Dept. of Health Food Protection Certification.
