As our busy season has started , high end Japanese Restaurant is hiring Servers and 1 Bar-back to join our Team.
-Japanese food experience preferred.
-Solid knowledge of Wines, Sake and Liquors as well as basic cocktails required.
-Strong knowledge of high-end service (2 years New York experience a must)
-The ideal candidate must be able to navigate through a section of 7 tables or more, provide excellent service while keeping a composed and positive attitude.
-The candidate must also be able to carry up to 50 pounds at times, stay on his/her/they feet for an extended period of time.
-The ideal candidate must have an impeccable demeanor, be punctual, reliable and a solid team player.
- Candidate is required to have full availabilities .
(please note that we are closed on Saturday and Sunday brunches as well as on most major Holidays/Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day etc)
-The Restaurant does have a non-facial hair policy.
- NON POOL HOUSE (FOR SERVERS)
Also looking for BARBACK with solid Bar experience in a high volume environment.
-Ideal candidate must know how to cut fruits and make juices and syrups and follow directions well.
-Must be able to lift 50 lbs at times.
-The candidate must also be able to carry up to 50 pounds at times, stay on his/her/they feet for an extended period of time.
-The ideal candidate must have an impeccable demeanor, be punctual, reliable and a solid team player.
