Position: Bar Professional Location: Lower East Side, New York City Job Type:
Full-time Schedule: Monday and Tuesday off, Wednesday dedicated to inventory management.
Thursday - Sunday
Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the rooftop bar, ensuring exceptional service and guest satisfaction.
Lead a team of enthusiastic bartenders and servers, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.
Curate and execute high-energy cocktail and music-focused events to attract a diverse clientele.
Maintain inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and place orders as needed to ensure adequate supply.
Train staff on beverage preparation techniques, service standards, and product knowledge.
Develop and implement creative marketing strategies to promote the venue and increase foot traffic.
Monitor and manage bar expenses, including labor costs and inventory shrinkage, to optimize profitability.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Act as a hands-on bartender during peak hours, leading by example and providing exceptional service. Requirements:
Previous experience in bar management or supervisory role, preferably in a high-energy nightlife environment.
Extensive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and wine, with a passion for mixology and beverage innovation.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail.
Proficiency in inventory management and TOAST POS systems.
Food Handler's Certificate and TIPS certification preferred.
Must thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
