Sweet Polly Is looking for experienced bartenders for a high volume cocktail environment.

Sweet Polly is a craft cocktail bar in Prospect Heights, focused on a high quality beverage program with oysters and small plates, and quality service without pretension.

All applicants must have at least 3 years relevant experience as a bartender and have a well-rounded knowledge of spirits and cocktails. Creativity and flexibility are vital to the working culture at Sweet Polly, and all employees are encouraged to continue their learning and contribute to the experience we provide. Applicants must be able to work cohesively with a team and well under pressure, all while providing an enjoyable environment for our guests.

Sweet Polly is hiring experienced BARTENDERS. Applicants must be able to work cohesively with a team and well under pressure, all while providing an enjoyable environment for our guests. Creativity and flexibility are vital to the working culture at Sweet Polly, and all employees are offered continuing education opportunities in the industry and opportunities for advancement within the company. Ownership, Management, and the Sweet Polly team are all committed to a supportive, cooperative, and healthy work environment. Shifts are appx. 8-9 hours, with paid breaks.

Bartenders: Starting pay is $12.50/Hr with tips. Bartenders must have open availability, for three or four shifts a week. Bartenders should have at least 3 years relevant cocktail bartending experience, and a well-rounded knowledge of spirits and cocktails. An interest/experience in cocktail creation is encouraged and opportunities for menu placements and cocktail specials are provided. All bartenders are expected to cross-train for floor service, as well as bar prep & production (juices, syrups, specialty ingredients, etc). Bartenders must be able to lift 50lbs.

Hosts: Starting pay is $20/hr, with an opportunity to make tips. Hosts must have availability M-F at starting at 4pm, and SAT/SUN starting at 1pm, for three or four shifts a week. Hosts should have at least one year experience and be organized and hospitable with the ability to think on their feet and work well under pressure.

Servers: Starting pay is $12/hr + tips with a prompt raise to $12.50 after 90 days, and performance-based raises down the line. Servers should be comfortable working on their feet in a fast-paced environment. Servers should have at least 2 years experience. Cocktail and spirit knowledge is highly desirable. Open availability is best.

Sweet Polly Is looking for experienced cooks with oyster shucking experience.

Sweet Polly is a craft cocktail bar in Prospect Heights, focused on a high quality beverage program with a diverse selection of oysters and small plates to compliment, delivered with quality, consistency and speed every single time.

All applicants must have at least 3 year's New York experience in the kitchen and shucking oysters. Applicants should be able to handle a high volume of tickets mostly on their own, and work efficiently and consistently at all times while keeping a clean space.

Applicants must have DOH Food Handler's License, open availability and be able to lift 50 lbs.

KITCHEN STAFF 2021

Sweet Polly is a craft cocktail bar in Prospect Heights/Park Slope. We have a creative high end cooperative cocktail program, complimented with a diverse selection of oysters, snacks, spreads and small plates. We are focused, intentional, and most importantly hospitality driven.

All applicants must have at least 1yr experience in a professional kitchen and be proficient at shucking oysters. Applicants should be able to handle a high volume of tickets, pace prep efficiently and keep work spaces clean and organized.

Applicants must have DOH Food Handler's License (or complete certification within 30 days of hiring).

Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Need to be available minimum 3 days weekly from the hours of 12 PM - 12 AM. Typical shifts are 6-10 hours w/ 30 minute paid lunch break.
