Floor Manager – Niku X New York

Our team is passionate about excellence — from the first greeting to the final course. We’re currently seeking a Floor Manager who brings leadership, finesse, and a sharp eye for detail to our front-of-house operations.
Role Summary:
As a Floor Manager, you will be responsible for leading the front-of-house team, ensuring seamless service flow, and maintaining the highest level of hospitality. You’ll support staff training, handle guest relations, and actively contribute to the day-to-day execution of an unforgettable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise FOH staff and maintain smooth service during all meal periods
2. Monitor table status, guest flow, and service timing
3. Support onboarding, training, and ongoing coaching for hosts, servers, runners, and bussers
4. Handle guest concerns with professionalism and promptness
5. Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure consistent execution
6. Maintain floor presence to lead by example and support team needs in real-time
7. Conduct pre-shift meetings and assist in scheduling and labor control
8. Ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper setup of FOH areas
9. Work closely with the General Manager and AGM to uphold brand standards and service consistency
Qualifications:
1. 3+ years of floor management experience in high-volume, upscale dining
2. Strong leadership and team-building skills
3. Exceptional guest service and conflict-resolution ability
4. Experience with POS and reservation systems (SevenRooms a plus)
5. Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
6. A calm, confident presence on the floor, even under pressure
7. Bilingual is a plus
