Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Pay: $20-$25 per hour, based on experience

Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare and execute menu items with consistency, speed, and attention to detail
2. Follow all recipes, portion controls, and plating standards
3. Set up and break down the station efficiently before and after service
4. Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workstation at all times
5. Work closely with BOH team to ensure smooth service flow
6. Handle high-volume service while maintaining quality
7.Properly store, label, and rotate food (FIFO)
8. Follow all NYC DOH food safety and sanitation standards
9. Assist with prep work and other BOH tasks as needed
Qualifications
1. Previous line cook experience preferred (yakiniku / Japanese cuisine a plus, but not required)
2. Strong knife skills and basic cooking techniques
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
4. Team player with a good attitude—no egos, no drama
5. Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
6. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
7. Food Handler’s Certificate preferred (or willingness to obtain)
