A Japanese neighborhood restaurant located in the heart of Greenpoint, Brooklyn is looking for organize, tidy and confident individual who has a genuine enthusiasm for hospitality. Employees with great attitudes and competitive work ethic will have the opportunity to grow in our expanding company. This position entails a couple of server shifts and bartender shifts per week.
Requirements but not limited to:
Minimum (3) years of restaurant experience in an upscale and casual dining setting, Japanese cuisine knowledge is a plus
Minimum (2) years of bartending experience who's creative and passionate about craft cocktail
Ability to provide an attentive and fine service in a high volume setting
Strong knowledge of computerized Point of Sale system operations
Dedicated, organized and detail-oriented
Ability to deliver and identify the dishes to the tables with confidence
Consistently maintain service standards, daily sidework and set-up
Build rapport with the clientele
Team player with positive attitude; Able to jump out from the bar to help the floor service
