Host-PM

The PM host is the first to be in contact with our guests and therefore helps to create the first impression the guest has of our restaurant. It is important to genuinely greet each guest in a friendly and welcoming manner just as you would greet a friend or family member into your home. The same goes for when answering the phone, you are excited to meet and speak to our guests. More detailed responsibilities include seating guests at proper table, ensuring that they are comfortable where we have asked them sit. Updating Resy to accurately portray what is happening in the dining room. Interact with guests when they walk in the door, are waiting for a table or have called over the phone. A good host will do everything with a smile on their face and help to create a comfortable and welcoming environment in our restaurant.

o Set up host stand with Resy; table management system.

o Greet and escort hotel guests and patrons to their tables in the bar and lounge of the hotel.

o Maintain an organized host stand and front of house.

o Assist with side work and opening/closing tasks as needed.

o Be aware of special events scheduled throughout the property and be able to direct guest appropriately.

o Answer phones and questions regarding the bar and lounge hours, service, availability, and make reservations.

o Answer In Room Dining Calls; notate appropriate information as far as guest room, orders and quote appropriate delivery time.

Qualifications:

o Minimum 2 years of restaurant experience

o Friendly, engaging and outgoing

o Professional, friendly demeanor

o Ability to multi-task and handle high volume

o Follow directions thoroughly

o Understand guest’s service needs

o Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team

o Work with minimal supervision

o Have the ability to reach, bend, stoop, climb up and down stairs, carry multiple objects

o Ability to stand/work on feet for long periods of time

o Experience with Resy is a plus

o TIPS/Alcohol Training certified is a plus

Responsibilities include:
