The Host position at Win Son is responsible for the flow of service, and works as a liaison between Managers, Kitchen, and guests. Guest-facing responsibilities include exuding warmth and hospitality to guests, as well as offering accurate wait times that reflect our availability and adhere to our reservation and waitlist policies. They will need excellent communication skills with an emphasis on direct and hospitable language, and comfortability with OpenTable.
Job Responsibilities:
Organizing the reservation book considering turn times, Server sections, and pace.
Respond to guest emails/texts/phone calls professionally and promptly.
Maintain cover count by confirming guest reservations, updating reservation status, and reaching out to notify/waitlist.
Prepare to present guest count and important guest information at daily pre-shift.
Welcome guests upon arrival and warmly thank guests as they depart.
Understanding the pace of service through awareness of timing, table status, and upcoming seatings
Communicate guest notes to the front of house manager on duty, and add to guest OpenTable profiles
Assist with training new team members
