Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Host/Hostess to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in creating a positive and welcoming experience. You will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating and flow within the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
· Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
· Manage reservations and seat guests in a timely and organized manner.
· Maintain an organized and accurate waitlist during peak hours.
· Communicate effectively with the front-of-house team to ensure a seamless guest experience.
· Assist with guest inquiries and provide information about the menu, specials, and restaurant services.
· Ensure cleanliness and organization of the host desk and waiting areas.
· Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate issues to the management team when necessary.
· Support the server team by assisting with setting up tables and ensuring a smooth dining experience.
Qualifications:
· Prior experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred but not required.
· Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Positive attitude, with a passion for delivering excellent guest service.
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
· A team player with a commitment to working collaboratively in a supportive environment.
