We are looking for a Part-time Host/Hostess for a Cigar Bar. This is a bar and lounge where SMOKING IS PERMITTED indoors (Cigars and Cigarettes only).
We are one of New York’s oldest cigar bars and lounges. Providing exceptional customer service is paramount.
Requirements:
THURSDAY 7PM- CLOSE (12-2AM)
FRIDAY 7PM- CLOSE (12-2AM)
SATURDAY 7PM- CLOSE (12-2AM)
(We will cut you earlier if its really slow)

21 & over
- Please include your experience in hospitality and when you can start.

Responsibilities:
- Greeting guests & checking ID
- Managing reservations and waitlists
- Seating guests, providing menus and waters
- Answering phone calls and addressing inquiries
- Coordinating with the serving staff for smooth operations
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in high volume customer service or hospitality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods
We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow in Hospitality. We expect our hosts to move up to server eventually.
We are a small staff. We need someone willing to learn about scotch and cigars. Working in a cigar bar offers a unique and distinctive experience compared to other hospitality environments.
