Position Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Night Auditor with proficiency in Opera, the hotel management software. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and financial accuracy of our hotel during overnight hours. This position requires strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to handle financial transactions accurately and securely.

Key Responsibilities:

Nightly Audit: Conduct thorough audits of daily transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with hotel policies and procedures.

Financial Reporting: Prepare and distribute daily financial reports detailing revenue, transactions, and discrepancies.

Guest Relations: Assist guests during the night shift, including check-ins, check-outs, and resolving any guest inquiries or issues promptly and professionally.

Operational Support: Monitor and respond to overnight requests.

Cash Handling: Manage cash transactions and maintain a balanced cash drawer throughout the shift.

Opera Software Management:

Utilize Opera PMS (Property Management System) to process reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and to update guest information accurately.

Collaboration: Communicate effectively with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure guest needs are met efficiently.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements during all operations.

Problem Solving: Handle and resolve any discrepancies, guest complaints, or operational challenges that may arise during the night shift.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.

Proficiency in using Opera PMS software for managing reservations, guest check-ins/check-outs, and other front desk operations.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to perform accurate financial audits and reporting.

Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.

Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Availability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a hotel front desk.
