Opening early this year, Maxime’s is located on Madison Avenue, New York on the site of the former Westbury Hotel and will continue the long-established Birley tradition of providing exceptional experiences to our members and guests.

POSITION SUMMARY
Maxime's Private Member Food and Beverage Social Club is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. This position will be responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of our luxury social club and office spaces and staff apartments, ensuring an impeccable experience for our esteemed members and colleagues. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, a strong sense of service, and a passion for maintaining a pristine environment in a high-end setting. Previous experience in a luxury hotel or private club environment is preferred but not required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise and direct the daily housekeeping operations of the club, ensuring all areas are spotless, well-maintained, and meet the highest standards of cleanliness.
Lead by example and assist in cleaning and organization tasks as necessary, including com-mon areas, restrooms, and back-of-house spaces.
Coordinate and schedule cleaning tasks and assign team members to specific duties to en-sure efficiency.
Conduct regular inspections of all areas to ensure cleanliness and functionality.
Train, motivate, and lead the housekeeping team to uphold excellence in standards and ser-vice.
Address concerns regarding cleanliness or maintenance with professionalism and discretion.
Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are well-maintained and stocked appropri-ately.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless member experience.
Maintain records of cleaning schedules, maintenance requests, and team performance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS)
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining a luxurious, immaculate envi-ronment.
Prior experience in a housekeeping or supervisory role is highly desirable, especially within a luxury hotel, private club, or similar setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with both team members and club members in a courteous and professional manner.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work independently, make quick decisions, and problem-solve on the spot.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
A proactive approach to ensuring the club’s standards and members’ expectations are con-sistently exceeded.
