PIZZA CHEF JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Pizza Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate must know how to stretch dough, and will have a strong background in restaurant cooking and food preparation, food safety and handling practices.

Duties

Prep dough and bake pizzas to order

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu plans.

Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to food safety standards.

Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and order as necessary to maintain stock.

Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained properly and report any issues promptly.

Help foster a positive work environment by encouraging teamwork and communication among staff.

Skills

Proven experience as a Pizza Cook in a restaurant setting.

Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.

Excellent culinary skills with the ability to prepare diverse cuisines.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff.

PASTRY CHEF JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and pastry production and preparation. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality baked goods for a busy bakery/cafe in a spa. We will also need you to prepare simple dishes (soups, salads, sides) during the late morning/ early afternoon hours, and brunch items on Saturday/Sunday. The hours are from 9:30am- approximately 3pm each day that you work.

Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a variety of breakfast pastries, cakes, and cookies.

Ensure all food production meets quality standards for taste, presentation, and freshness.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.

Package finished products for display or sale, ensuring they are presented attractively.

Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and communicate needs for replenishment.
