We are seeking an experienced Cook and Bar Back to support our kitchen and bar operations. This unique role requires a versatile individual who can seamlessly transition between cooking and bar support duties. You will be instrumental in delivering an exceptional dining and drinking experience to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Cook Duties:
- Prepare and cook high quality dishes in accordance with our menu standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Assist with inventory management and food preparation.
- Collaborate with the head chef to develop seasonal menus and specials.
Bar Back Duties:
- Support bartenders by restocking supplies, cleaning glassware, and maintaining bar cleanliness.
- Assist in the preparation of garnishes and other bar-related tasks.
- Ensure the bar area is ready for service and efficiently organized.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and assisting as needed.
Professional Expectations:
- Proven experience as a Cook and Bar Back, ideally in a fast-paced restaurant or cocktail bar environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for food and cocktails, with a desire to learn and grow in both areas.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
