Our nourishing, vegetable-forward, seasonal-inspired menu is designed to bring out the very essence of every ingredient, while our space focuses on life’s simple pleasures—natural finishes, abundant space and light and harmonious design. We are looking for talented individuals to join our team!
Working alongside the Executive Chef and Sous Chef, the Junior Sous Chef helps ensure that all meals are well-executed regarding quality and consistency. The Junior Sous Chef assists with overseeing all aspects of daily kitchen operations and food production areas. Trained by the Executive Chef and Sous Chef, the Junior Sous Chef helps the kitchen staff exceed all quality standards and establish and enforce food regulations.
A culinary degree; or at least 2 years of progressive experience in a restaurant setting
Must have knowledge of preparation techniques in accordance with health department regulations
Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all levels of employees
Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with a minimum of supervision.
