Local Neighborhood Gastro Pub is looking for a cook to join our team. We are looking for the right candidate who possesses, at minimum, these qualifications:
1. NYC Food Handlers License
2. Adheres to Department of Health Standards using protocols
3. Experience cooking American Comfort Foods
4. Open and Fexible Schedule, Weekends a must.
This position is an open opportunity for someone who may also want to grow into a head chefs position.
Experience level for that role involves good knowledge of Budgeting for Cost of Goods Sold and Cost of
Recipes for the restaurant. Must be comfortable with email and text communication. Leadership is a characteristic that we look for, so BOH has a point person.
