POSITION OVERVIEW
Our Kitchen Production Specialist will be at the core of our operation. You’ll be baking our products and elevating each batch with the excitement, joy, and nostalgia that embody Fort Greene Granola. You will follow our thoughtfully-crafted recipes, manage production volume, and be empowered to suggest improvements to everything from the selection of ingredients to the overall efficiency of our operation. Eventually, you will help expand our kitchen team as we grow – and the role itself has significant growth potential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Produce granola in high-volume batches, meticulously following recipes to ensure consistency, flavor, and quality.
Take ownership of kitchen organization, workflow, and cleanliness to create a stress-free, efficient production environment.
Manage inventory by tracking ingredients, noting stock levels, and supporting smooth restocking processes.
Contribute to our mission by suggesting new ingredients or recipe enhancements that evoke a sense of place, nostalgia, and adventure.
Maintain food safety standards to ensure the quality and freshness of every batch.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
1+ years of experience in a line cook or similar kitchen production role.
A detail-oriented individual who thrives in a high-volume, quality-focused production environment.
Passionate about food and excited to bring stories and experiences to life through taste.
A proactive self-starter who can manage inventory systems and create an organized, connected workspace.
