Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you will work closely with the head chef and kitchen staff to prepare food to order, ensuring quality and consistency in every dish. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook food to order according to restaurant specifications and recipes.
Ensure food quality and presentation meet the restaurant’s standards.
Set up and stock workstations with ingredients, tools, and equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including all equipment and utensils.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Work efficiently in a team, helping fellow cooks when needed.
Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as required.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a high-pressure environment.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a line cook or in a fast-paced kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
Strong understanding of cooking techniques, knife skills, and kitchen equipment.
Ability to work efficiently and quickly without compromising quality.
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing needs.
Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 75lbs
