Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and an understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality plates, ensuring food safety standards. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.

Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food handling practices.

Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and other cooking tools.

Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.

Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.

Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food service industry is preferred.

Knowledge of dietary aide practices and fine dining standards is a plus.

Strong skills in meal preparation, food handling, and knife techniques.

Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen environment.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high-quality standards.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
