Upper West Side café featuring specialty coffee and high-quality food program is hiring an experienced line cook starting ASAP for a Part-Time position (4 days/week).
Some requirements for the line cook position are:
Ability to communicate well in English
A minimum of 1 year experience in a professional kitchen
NYC Food Handler's Certification
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment
Lift at least 50 lbs
Reach overhead
Ability to be flexible and available to fill different shifts including weekends and holidays
Candidate must be focused, hard-working and possess a sense of urgency and pride in their work.
