Campbell & Co. started out over twelve years ago as Campbell Cheese & Grocery, a family-run neighborhood specialty store in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. At the end of 2023 we opened our second location in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, across from McGolrick Park. We are hiring an experienced, friendly, and reliable line and prep cook. We are a lively place so if you are someone who likes to keep busy, can work as a team, loves cheese and artisanal food and beverages, and has great people skills, this is the place for you! As a growing business there is tremendous professional and financial growth for the right candidates! Could be full or part time, but candidates should have some flexibility with scheduling due to the fluctuating demands on a hospitality based business. That being said, this is not a seasonal job, we are looking to add to our core teams! Descriptions will be expanded on during the interview.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
-Preparation of mise-en-place for all salads & sandwiches before service daily
-Make sandwiches & salads to order during shift and during rush
-Prep and assembly for catering orders
-Preparation and packaging of house-made items (pestos, dressings, etc.)
-Replenish and freshen mise-en-place at end of shift for evening
-Dishes
-Some morning shifts which involve baking fresh biscuits daily as well as other baked goods
-Maintain a clean kitchen daily with regular deep cleans
-Communicate inventory needs of kitchen with manager
-Additional duties as assigned
