Hi we are looking for a skilled and passionate cook to join our team at Garden Carver
Looking for 5 shifts per week about 30 to 35 hours with weekend morning availability
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of delicious vegan dishes according to our menu and recipes.
Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen.
Perform regular cleaning tasks, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
Keep the kitchen area and food storage areas organized and clean at all times.
Follow all health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements and skills:
Previous experience as a Cook or Chef in a restaurant, cafe, or similar culinary setting
Knowledge and passion for plant based cuisine
Excellent cooking skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations
Ability to work well in a team environment, with excellent communication
