Hakubai is a newly redesigned fine-dining Japanese restaurant located in The Prince Kitano New York, New York City's only Japanese owned and operated luxury hotel. The menu features a 9-course tasting Kaiseki menu focused on seasonal ingredients with traditional execution. The hotel is conveniently located for both business and leisure travelers on New York City coveted Park Avenue near Grand Central Station.
We are seeking an experienced and refined Maitre'D to participate in this redesigned fine-dining restaurant.
Qualifications and Experience include:
4 years of fine dining experience – preferred
Experience with reservation platforms (Tock or Resy)
Daily entry of guest notes and data
Proficient language skills and guest relation experience – required
Knowledge of Japanese service standards - preferred
Bilingual in English and Japanese is a MUST
Coat check and belonging organization – required
This is a full-time position - the restaurant will operate evenings from Tuesday through Saturday.
