Pay & Benefits:
Seafood Market Counter Staff - Hourly Rate- $20.00/hr PLUS TIPS

About You:

As a seafood market counter staff, you enjoy interacting with guests and welcoming them.

Responsibilities:
Taking and preparing customer orders, including cleaning and portioning product
Delivering excellent customer service to customers
Merchandizing products
In-depth knowledge of all products in the section
Stocking and organizing packaging supplies as needed
AM setup and PM breakdown of sections
Maintains a clean and organized workstation
Reads tickets and prepares customer orders.
Presents and plates excellent food for service.
Stores and keeps track of sushi inventory items.
Cleans and sanitizes work area.
Interacts with guests in a professional and welcoming manner.
Communicates and collaborates effectively with all co-workers.
Follows work schedule.
Qualifications:
1+ years experience in customer service and/or working with seafood
Excellent knife skills.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment, learn quickly, and show initiative.
Good time management and communication skills.
Understanding of NYC health department codes.
Willing to learn and retain knowledge from our Fish Cutters
Willing to work nights and weekends
Available Schedule:
Wednesdays, 3:30 PM - 9:30 PM
Thursdays, 3:30PM - 9:30PM
Fridays, 10:00AM - 4:00PM
Saturdays, 3:30PM - 9:30PM
Sundays, 3:30PM - 9:30PM
