The role:
As the Maintenance & Repair Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the venue facilities are well-cared for and adequate to support the venue’s business operations. This includes overseeing all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of the Venue facilities. Job specifications are subject to change to meet the needs of the business, and at the employers' discretion. You may be asked to perform reasonable duties outside of this scope. You will be the one to ensure that your colleagues have the best physical resources available to complete their duties.
Our perfect candidate has:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a maintenance management role (e.g. Facilities Engineer, Maintenance Technician, etc.)
Facilities management and/or maintenance experience in a hotel or restaurant is a plus!
Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.
Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment
Ability to keep track of and report on all maintenance activity
Excellent communication at all levels
The ability to manage under pressure and make decisions in real time
Personal maturity to deal with confidential information and/or issues with discretion and sound judgment
The capability to meet the physical and scheduling demands of the position, including walking, standing, or lifting heavy items for extended periods, and (if needed due to extenuating circumstance) working nights, weekends, and holidays

The base pay range for this position is $65,000. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications, and skills, etc.
