Are you a charismatic bartender with a passion for great customer service and a knack for managing teams? We’re looking for an energetic and experienced Bartender & Assistant Manager to join our team at our restaurant! We are a casual dining establishment known for signature sandwiches & Belgian fries, craft beer & cocktails, and great atmosphere, and we want someone who can bring positive energy to our restaurant and help elevate the guest experience.
Position Overview:
As our Bartender & Assistant Manager, you’ll wear two hats: crafting delicious drinks and assisting in managing day-to-day operations. This is a dynamic role, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys both customer service and leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Bartender Duties:
-Mix and serve drinks to customers while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
-Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area
-Take orders, make recommendations, and provide menu knowledge to guests
-Handle cash and credit card transactions efficiently and accurately
-Monitor guest behavior and ensure the responsible service of alcohol
Assistant Manager Duties:
-Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient environment
-Supervise staff, provide training, and help create a positive work culture
-Book and organize Private Events and off-premise catering order
-Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally
-Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock
-Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
-Assist with scheduling and other administrative tasks, as needed
Qualifications:
-Proven experience as a bartender, with a strong understanding of drink preparation and mixing techniques
-Prior management or supervisory experience in the restaurant industry is preferred but not required
-Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
-Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
-Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
