Position Overview: We are seeking a friendly and dynamic Host/Hostess to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in setting the tone for their dining experience. If you have a passion for hospitality and a love for Brazilian culture, we want to hear from you!
We have an Open-house for interviews at our Midtown location (3 Wests 36th St) on Tuesday, November 26th from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm, and Wednesday from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized host station.
- Answer phones and assist with inquiries regarding menus and wait times.
- Collaborate with the waitstaff to ensure smooth service.
- Provide excellent customer service and enhance the guest experience.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a hosting or customer service role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
- Knowledge of Brazilian cuisine is a plus, but not required.
