Peck's and Peckish are two great neighborhood cafes that have withstood the test of time with our homemade breakfast pastries, afternoon treats, and much, much more. We are now two cafes heading into our 11th year in business, and we are currently preparing for expansion.
We need an overnight baker. It would be 5 nights a week. It is a great job for those who like to work alone and play their own music. The shift starts at 11 PM and goes to 7 AM. You will not be alone most of the time as the rest of the kitchen starts arriving at 6am. The job is very important to us and you will be treated as a valued team member. You will learn additional aspects of pastry production. We think that having experience in the kitchen is a valuable asset.
The most important traits for an overnight baker is consistency and reliability. We will be counting on you.
