Small-batch artisan sourdough bakery based in Brooklyn, is looking for an experienced baker to join our team. This is a part-time position for now, with the potential for growth as we expand operations.
Schedule:
Fridays: 7:30 AM - 1:30 PM
Saturdays: 7:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Pay:
Varies DOE (Depends on Experience)
Requirements:
Experience baking artisanal sourdough bread (natural fermentation, hand shaping, etc.).
Current food handler’s license (required).
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
Attention to detail, quality, and consistency in every loaf.
Strong work ethic and ability to follow recipes and procedures.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a small team.
Ability to lift 50 lbs (flour bags, dough tubs, etc.).
Responsibilities:
Mixing, shaping, and baking sourdough bread.
Monitoring fermentation and proofing processes.
Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Assisting with production efficiency and consistency.
