Main Focus
Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers
Primary Responsibilities
Safely load and unload products from the vehicle using manual or mechanical equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts
Deliver product into account's premises
Obtain signature from account on invoice and receive any payments that may be offered
Input notes into Sales CRM software, Circle
Hand-out and discuss sales sheets
Recover and document any empty kegs at accounts on and near the route
Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
Prepare stock and verify the accuracy of orders before delivery
Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner
Communicate any issues to management
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks
Other miscellaneous duties as assigned
Secondary Responsibilities
Clean & organize delivery van
Ad hoc Tasks
As a small team, there will be unforeseen needs & overlap
Organize & note updates to procedures as they occur
Requirements
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Forklift experience
Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
Excellent knowledge of local traffic laws and routes
Strong time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
Ability to lift heavy objects (eg 140lb kegs) and load/unload goods safely
Strong communication skills
