Are you a friendly, outgoing person who loves providing excellent customer service? We’re looking for a dynamic Host to join our team at Strange Delight!
This position is part time (10-20 hrs per week/ 2-3 shifts total). We are open Wed-Sun so you'll always have at least two days off in a row! Starting rate is $19/hr.
Candidates must have previous hosting experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests with a warm smile
- Manage reservations and waitlists
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including bathrooms
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and service staff
- Ensure a positive dining experience for all guests
Requirements:
- Understand online booking systems such as OpenTable or Resy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Previous hosting experience
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
