Steiny’s Pub, a local neighborhood bar located near the Staten Island Ferry on Staten Island, is looking for a PART TIME LINE COOK. Pay commensurate with experience.
Daily Responsibilities:
Cooks hot food to order in a timely, detail-oriented manner, per existing recipes
Slices and portions food for service
Assists other staff with as needed
Organizes and maintains a clean, safe kitchen, walk-in and additional fridges
Maintains the highest level of food safety and sanitation
Requirements:
A valid NYC Food Handler’s License
Available for 1-7 pm shifts, 3-5 times per week
HIGHLY meticulous, punctual and detail-oriented
A positive attitude and an enthusiastic desire
Ability to lift 30+ lbs and spend 6+ hours standing
Flexibility in scheduling, including evenings and weekends
A team player with a willingness to jump in and help with all tasks.
