Position: Part-Time OpenTable Optimization Specialist
Hours: 4-6 hours per week (8-12 per month)
Pay: $40 - $60 per hour or $500 - $1,200.00 monthly retainer
Location: Remote + Occasional on-site at NYC restaurants
We operate a multi-unit seafood restaurant group in NYC (UWS, Chelsea, Greenwich Village). We are looking for a part-time specialist to optimize our OpenTable performance and ensure we maximize seated covers every week!
Responsibilities:
-Weekly audit of OpenTable settings for each location
-Optimize pacing, turn times, table availability, and capacity
-Monitor demand patterns and adjust slot openings
-Rebuild or refine table maps as needed
-Reduce no-shows and cancellations through settings adjustments
-Identify operational issues affecting seating efficiency
-Analyze OpenTable reporting (conversion, demand, lost covers)
-Provide a weekly summary of findings and recommendations
-Work with OT to administer best practices
Requirements:
-2+ years using OpenTable Guest Center in a high-volume NYC restaurant
-Strong understanding of table configuration, pacing, and yield management
-Ability to interpret OT analytics and translate into action
-Experience with multi-unit operations a plus
-Excellent communication
-Highly detail-oriented

-Former maitre d', FOH Manager, or reservations manager at high-volume restaurants in NYC
