Pappardella is a popular and busy UWS Italian restaurant, serving classic Italian fare including pizza, pasta, fish and grilled meats. We are seeking a skilled, motivated pasta cook. Its a busy station and our candidate has to have solid experience handling a busy pasta station.
5 days, including weekend.
Responsibilities:
- prepping the station before dinner
- working dinner service in good team work with your colleagues
- prepping for the start of lunch the following day
- cleaning your station at the end of shift
- communicating with chef about daily special
- collaborating on needs for lunch/evening shift
Qualifications:
- At least two years of experience cooking pasta station in an Italian restaurant in new york.
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, and peers; use of professional language.
- knowledge of food handling practices - Food Protection Certificate desired
