As the Manager, you'll oversee daily operations to deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will lead and develop our team, manage inventory and finances, and implement strategies to drive sales and boost customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have strong pizza-making skills, including dough preparation, topping assembly, and baking techniques. These skills are essential for ensuring product quality, effectively training staff, and improving overall kitchen efficiency. Your role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations and creating a positive environment for both customers and staff.
Responsibilities:
- The manager will be responsible for overseeing and actively participating in the pizza-making process to ensure every product meets our quality standards.
-Manage day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Supervise, train, and mentor staff to ensure exceptional customer service.
- Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships.
-Ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Address customer inquiries, feedback, and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate marketing and promotional activities to drive traffic and sales.
- Maintain accurate cash handling and financial records.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications:
-The candidate should have hands-on experience in making pizzas, from crafting dough to perfecting the bake.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating positive customer experiences.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with inventory management and basic financial principles.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Upside Pizza is looking for an EXPERIENCED pizza worker (maker, working oven, stretching pies) for multiple locations: Midtown, Chelsea, Nolita, Greenpoint, 8th ave- and we are expanding.
Experience in a high volume NYC Pizza shop is required - being bi-lingual is important.
Full time and Part Time schedules are available .
