Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Counter Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and customer service, with a passion for delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Assist customers at the counter with orders and inquiries ( putting pizza in the oven , cutting pizza to go)
- Answer phone for to go orders
- Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Prepare and serve food items such as pizza and beverages
- Maintain cleanliness of the counter area and ensure compliance with food safety standards
- Restock inventory and monitor supplies
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order fulfillment
Qualifications:
-Must speak English
- Able to work weekends
-Previous experience in a food service environment is preferred
- Familiarity with POS system is a plus but we can teach you
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle various customer personalities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a positive attitude
- Understanding of food safety protocols and willingness to follow sanitation guidelines
