We are hiring a head pizza chef to operate all facets of our pizza shop.
Salary is based on experience, including paid time off and sick days
5 day work week up to 55 hours per week
Closest transit buses are the Q53 & Q35 bus and the A train. Please only apply if you are familiar with the area and have a reasonable commute time.
Requirements
All facets of dough making (dough batching, fermentation, portioning, stretching)
48 hour dough fermentation - product inventory is important to understand.
2+ years pizza/dough making experience
In-depth knowledge of kitchen health and safety regulations
Ability to work well in a stressful and fast-paced environment
Basic knife skills and familiarity and comfortability in a small kitchen
Proven ability to be a team player
Food Handler’s Certification preferred
Willingness to work varied shifts, including days, nights, weekends and holidays
Must always be on time.

Outstanding communication and organizational skills
Must be friendly and willing to make adjustments as needed to help bring the restaurant to its peak level in sales.
