Pizza maker wanted
The Esters is looking for a part time pizza maker. We opened March 7, 2022 in Greenpoint Brooklyn and instantly became a neighborhood favorite bar serving wine, cocktails, charcuterie and pizza. We are looking for experienced pizza maker but we will train someone who has kitchen experience. Our kitchen is small so a sense of humor is needed. Don’t be a jerk!
Ideal Candidates:
Pizza making and/or commercial kitchen experience
Detail oriented
Be able to work in a busy kitchen smoothly
Must be comfortable interacting and talking with customers as it’s an open kitchen
Must be on time, respectful and work well with others
Must be able to stand for 8 hours and lift at least 50lbs
Must have NY Food Handling license
Duties Include:
Hand stretching dough into pans
Topping pizzas
Working the oven
Some prep
Do kitchen dishes (bar does it’s own dishes)
Keeping kitchen clean at all times
