We’re Polly’s Cafe! We’re nestled in the heart of Brooklyn, currently in Prospect Heights and Crown Heights South. Our cozy cafes offer a warm and inviting atmosphere paired with exceptional coffee and delicious bites. With a focus on community and comfort, we provide a haven for locals and visitors alike to relax, recharge, and connect.
We're looking for a reliable, hands-on porter to support the upkeep of our two cozy Brooklyn cafes. This role is essential in helping us maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both staff and guests.
Responsibilities include:
Performing routine deep cleaning tasks (floors, windows, back of house, etc.)
Taking care of small repairs and odd handyman jobs as needed. Handyman experience is required
Supporting general upkeep of indoor and outdoor spaces
Ensuring all equipment is running well
Notifying management when larger maintenance needs arise
Ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping spaces tidy and functional, enjoys a bit of everything, and is proactive by nature.
