Successful restaurant concept seeking a GENERAL MANAGER for a 120 seat restaurant.
We are looking for a hospitality minded, strong leader.
Responsibilities:
Overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maximizing profitability. They will lead and motivate the team, maintain high standards of quality, cleanliness, and safety, and drive revenue growth through effective marketing strategies and operational efficiency.
Leadership and Team Management:
Train, and supervise staff members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Set performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
Motivate team members to achieve operational excellence and exceed customer expectations.
Operations Management:
Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including but not limited to, food preparation, service, inventory management, and facility maintenance.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, sanitation standards, and company policies.
Uphold high standards of customer service, addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and effectively.
Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance the overall dining experience.
Build rapport with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
Develop and manage budgets, forecasting revenue and expenses accurately.
Monitor financial performance against targets, identifying areas for cost control and revenue enhancement.
Implement pricing strategies and promotions to drive sales and profitability.
Prepare and analyze Profit and Loss statements (P&;Ls), identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
Develop and maintain employee schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet operational demands while controlling labor costs.
Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in employee compensation.
Maintain payroll records and documentation in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly.
Oversee inventory levels and procurement processes to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing waste and controlling costs.
Maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing terms to optimize value.
Implement inventory tracking systems and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy.
Software Skills: Knowledge or understanding of restaurant management software such as Toast, 7Shifts, and proficiency in productivity tools like Outlook is a plus.
Qualifications:
Experience Requirement: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a General Manager role or restaurant management, demonstrating a proven track record of success in leading and managing restaurant operations.
Proven experience in restaurant management, with a track record of success in achieving operational and financial targets.
Working Conditions: The General Manager will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, requiring flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. may also be required to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects occasionally.
